Academy Program

 

Academy serves as a bridge between the Recreational and Competitive programs. Our Academy program has been highly successful in developing a strong foundation of skill sets for players while fostering a love of playing the game. This program is for players who are looking for a more competitive experience than Rec soccer, with high-level coaches, more regional travel (NW Montana), and a local tournament experience.

  • General Information:
    • Registration open through January 15th, and on January 16th a late registration fee of $25 will be assessed.
    • Registration fee: $300 (payment plan is available with $75  upon registration,  the remainder of the balance will be charged in March and April). Cost includes $15 SD6 facility fee. This fee is used to operate and maintain the multi-use fields and Canyon Elementary. 
    • Program Details:
      • Birth years 2014-2016
  • When:
    • Season runs from middle of January through mid June. Before spring break, indoor practices are held at Canyon Elementary (in Hungry Horse) and after spring break, outdoor practices are held at the Columbia Falls Junior High Fields. 
    • Assessment dates will be held at the Logan Health Performance Center. Follow this link for times and dates.
    • Practice will be held two times per week.
    • Games will be held on Saturdays, with some tournaments over both Saturday and Sunday
  •  Where:
    • Practice will be held at the Columbia Falls Junior High fields.
    • Games will be held in Northwest Montana with potential games as far as Missoula and Helena. 
  • Uniforms:
    • New uniforms will be required this spring. More details will be coming out soon on cost and how to purchase them.
  • Travel Academy Includes:
    • One local tournament and an end of the season Tournament.
    • Paid coaches (experienced and licensed).
    • Saturday games in Northwest MT. Other tournaments are possible with team interest, at an additional cost.
    • Some games may be scheduled as far as Missoula and Helena depending on team interest.
    • Academy is the next step for young players who are looking for a more competitive program than rec soccer.

      • Where: Helena, MT
      • When: June 15-16th

Competitive Program

 

  • General Information:

      • Birth years 2005-2013
  • When:
    • Season runs from middle of January through mid June. Before spring break, indoor practices are held at Canyon Elementary (in Hungry Horse) and after spring break, outdoor practices are held at the Columbia Falls Junior High and High School Fields. 
    • Assessments for all age groups will be held at the Logan Health Performance Center. Assessment dates and times can be found here
    • Practice will be held two to three times per week.
    • Games will be played on Saturdays with an occasional week night scrimmage and tournament play both weekend days.
  • Where:
    • Practice will be held at the Columbia Falls Junior High fields and High School Fields.
    • Games will be held in Northwest Montana with potential games as far as Missoula, Stevensville, and Helena. 
  • Uniforms:
    • New uniforms will be required this spring. More details will be coming out soon on cost and how to purchase them.
    Travel League includes:
    • 3 Tournaments
    • Paid coaches (experienced and licensed).
    • Saturday games scheduled through the Montana state league, a more competitive program.
    • Other tournaments are possible with team interest, at an additional cost.

      • Where: Coeur D'Alene, ID
      • When:  May 10-12th

      • Where: Kalispell, MT
      • When: Typically early June
    • Montana Showcase - U11-12
      • Where: Kalispell, MT
      • When: June 15-16th
    • Montana Cup - U13-U19
      • Where: Helena, MT
      • When: June 7-9th
